katiroth | Happy Halloween!

Whooo hoo! I must ramble on about my incredibly awesome night last night. Anyway, about 6:30ish I started getting ready for the university's party. It didn't start until ten, but I just...loooooooove to dress up, so I was going to get ready nice and early. So I did my magenta skirt and looooooooow cut black tank, combat boots (which was NOT a good idea, as I'll go into later) and fishnets, but I held off on doing my makeup and wrist guards for a bit later.

So...then I did my makeup. Normal foundation and powder- I didn't need to change my complextion, and suuuuper dark, but beautiful eye makeup. I was quite proud of myself, heh heh. PLus I love any excuse to wear black lipstick. ...I'll say it...I looked beautiful last night. Maybe I should grow my hair back out...O.o...Oh, then add in the wrist guards and my faux ruby necklace taped to my wrist so it hung over my hand. Tape...is not fun. >.>

Okay...so now onto the party. It...sucked. Royally. I got there and there was almost no one there, but at least most people were in costume. There were a few lazy people, but meh. So anyway..ALL THEY WOLD PLAY WAS HIP-HOP. I wanted to die. I can't stand hip-hop. >.< ..So then they had the costume contest...which was really more of a popularity contest. Whoever brought more friends got more applause. *shrug* That's okay though, because the guy who won...deserved it. He was Raffiki from The Lion King...there was also someone in an AMAZING Elf costume. She was...really pretty...So after the costume contest (Which was almost won by a guy seemingly dressed normal (until you saw the spiderman costume underneath) and who I'll go into more later) a girl dressed as an egyptian preistess kinda..latched onto me. Her name is Laura, but she goes by Hoshi (which means star in japanese, I believe)...and the spiderman guy, Thad, also talked to me for a bit. Anyway, finally they played the Time Warp..I was one of about 5 people to know it, and then I just left. Laura followed me and we walked around campus for a bit, talking about our RPG's and fanfics..When we got to the lawn of Carrington, we see Thad (spiderman guy) and Laura and I chase him, mostly to scare the soccer players...and then he runs, mocks us both for wearing skirts, and then the three of us went over to the SMSU sign thingy and sat and talked for about an hour.

Then Laura got a migrane so we walked back over to Freddy and she went on to her car, and Thad and I went to the 'porch' and I got his AIM name and email address, and we started talking. Then we decided to wlak over to hardees for something to eat. Please note- it's well past midnight. :) This is also where I decided combat boots weren't good. Silly me, I didn't wear socks, only fishnets, so they chose that moment to give me monster blisters. I lived, and we had fun. Walking home though, the funniest thing happened. The sprinker systems were all screwed over, and spraying right in the sidewalk. Some drunk guys yelled at us not to walk on the sidewalk or we'd get wet, so I yelled back "Thank you captain obvious" and Thad and I walked through anyway, getting a bit..soaked. It wasn't so bad, but I was wearing that really low cut shirt..so it got a bit cold. >.<

Then he walked me back to Freddy, which was really nice, seeing as New Hall where he's at is several blocks away.

And when I get to my room, Corrine is already asleep. I felt like cracking up. It's some ungodly hour, and Thursday's are SMSU's "Party Nights"...Every night so far, Corrine has been out really late..but for once, on "party night" I was home AFTER her. I felt pretty cool.

...and now..tonight...it's the Anime Club halloween party. I'm debating between the outfit from last night or the actual Jedi Damry...'cause last night I looked gorgeous. Decisions, decisions.
