'cause it's all that I know..
EDIT!: This day can NOT get better!!! *happy dance* ...Justin managed to get online!!!!!!! I miss him so much..when he gets out of basic, he gets a glomp.
...These last two weeks have been insane. Last week I dreamt that PasifiKStar left a shoutout in her fic for me because I reviewed so much..and the next day when I checked? Voila. There it was. That was just plain creepy, especially since I had dreamt it the night before! Now, I've had a few "precognitive" dreams before, but mostly the whole deja vu kind. This is the first time that something actually happened. It's..weird. And then, I dreamt about another shoutout on that fic!...and what happens? It's there.
http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1532696 ...check it out, 'tis well worth the 17 chapters.
And to add to the weirdness, a bunch of new people -Hold on a moment, yet ANOTHER- have added me to their LJ list for weird reasons. Not that I mind, I like new friends, but it's just...odd. [Neo Impression]Whoa...[/Neo Impression]. So many cooincidences lately. It's just kinda creepy.
So anyway, in other news, my roommate didn't get in until 9 am this morning. She claims that she did nothing with the boy whose house she went to, but meh. Cor isn't 'loose' but when you're out until 9 am...that's just asking for people to think the wrong thing. At least I don't smell alcohol on her. Then I'd be very unhappy. I know college is the time to go get drunk and whutnot, but that doesn't mean I will or that I have to like it.
Also, I need to write up my speech outline by Wednesday, and I have no clue what to od it on. We have to use visual aides, and I'm just like "d'oh." ..I thought about bringing my PS2 and playing FFX (even though it sucks) and showing people how to beat a boss, but that'd be pretty dumb. So..I'll probably spend most of tomorrow night in the library, slaving away over books and stuff until I pass out.
Ooh...here's a clip from the fabled Klo-Ude/Damry RP. *snickers* I think that the last several nights have been the best RP I've ever had.
-She was by nature a very emotional person, as much as she tried to hide it, so Damry could not keep from crying softly as she watched Rack's reaction. Her eyes, rather than flashed, glistened with tears as she limped along with Klo-Ude’s help after getting to the ship. It wasn't fair, really. When Klo-Ude 'died' she got him back, but the same wouldn't hold true for Rack. Silently she shook her head. There were still other things that hadn't been mentioned yet that should have been, so as they reached the ship, she stopped for a moment, taking a deep breath. "Klo-Ude," she began, "You know, everything I said in there, I meant." That said she once more started moving up toward the ramp, not trusting her voice to say anything else.
As they ascended the ramp, Rack far ahead of them, intent on hurrying Dieter to the makeshift ward in hopes that something could be done, he looked to her and smiled weakly. "I know." With that, he avoided it for a few minutes more. They had to get out of here first and foremost, or else there wouldn't be a chance at discussing anything. Leaving Coruscant was much easier to do than enter its space, and as the stars faded into starlines, then blurred into the blue-black marble of hyperspace, he looked to Damry, seated in the copilot's chair. "Now...where were we?"
Another cough. After this she was going to need quite a bit of rest to sleep this off. Still...they had defeated the badguy, it was time to go home...home being anywhere but Coruscant, and she would have plenty of time for that. Later. Another hint of red flushed her cheeks as she leaned her head back and closed her eyes, relishing the relative comfort of the seat. "You know very well where we were," she said gently, offering a light smile before her eyes opened again. "Are you really going to make me repeat it?"
Half his mouth curled in a smirk, and he let a moment's pause pass before he replied. "You bet I am. But not like this..." Rising from his seat, he took the half-step to hers and bent down over it. He was equally as tired as she, though he doubted that it was as overwhelming as it was for her, but he still was able to lift her from the seat easily, cradling her in his grip with relative ease. Settling down again in the pilot's seat, he kept one arm around her waist, the other resting idly against the arm of the seat. "There." he said, a silent laugh hissing through his nose. His gaze was starting to give up its fight against his eyelids, but he felt that he could hold off sleep for a short while longer. To be sure, he locked his crystal orbs on hers, one eyebrow rising.
She couldn't help but smile even though there was still remnants of a flush. She was a little embarrassed, being picked up and carried over to the pilots seat with Klo-Ude, but it was well worth it. "Fine then," she whispered softly, her green eyes meeting his ice blue ones as one of her hands slipped around to rest on the back of Klo-Ude's neck, the other one's fingers fidgeting a little bit. "Then I'll say it again. Klo-Ude Jinn, I love you." She felt...so incredibly mushy and her face flushed again, but she wanted, no, needed to say it to his face when he wasn't acting like the Dark Lord of the Sith.
It almost stung when she said it, and he took in a deep breath. His eyes closed for a long moment, and it seemed as though he'd spontaneously fallen asleep at a most inopportune time. But they reopened soon after, and he smiled back up to her. "And I love you, Damry Hawke." The words came so easy, and it seemed as though he never quite realized that he did before now, though a part of him always knew. Funny how the most important things sometimes hid way away from where they were supposed to be. Throwing his thoughts away for once, he sat up in his seat, rising to touch his lips to hers. First kiss...only took, what...two, three hundred years?
He wouldn't openly attest to that, but the shudder that ran through him was testament enough to the half-fact that he hadn't had the feeling in quite a long time. But as he fell back against the chair, the cockpit looked different. Almost transparent. Quickly, he looked to his hands, eyes wide with...was it fear? Whatever it was, it disappeared even quicker than it had shown, and he breathed easy again. Eyes rising to hers again, he felt them threaten to close again. "It's hard to stay awake when you're this comfortable, you know."
Damry almost started crying as he said those words back to her, and then again as their lips met in the kiss. You are too emotional, Damry she told herself before smiling lightly again. This moment was perfect. "Then don't fight the sleep anymore, I'm rather comfortable too," she said softly, breaking his gaze to rest her head on his shoulder, her eyes closing. "Just don't fight it anymore."
His head fell to the side, cheek resting against the top of her head. He hoped the bristle of his beard wouldn't bother her. Her words held a double meaning, as far as he was concerned. But rather than excogitate on it, he just nodded and said, "I'm done with fighting for a while...time to let it be." Hyperspace disappeared from his sight as he closed his eyes, slowly retracting from consciousness to allow his body to get some much-needed rest. Knowing that he'd still be there when they awoke was wonderful as it was, and knowing who he'd see first when his eyes opened again gave him a reason to want to be around, if only for that extra moment.-
It was soooo sweet...and dramatic...and everything!
