(no subject)

Oh yeah. Ninjas are so much cooler than pirates.

So what, might you ask, brought about this little cartoon? Today at lunch I was putting my tray up and I hear someone yell out "Pirates!" I look up, see who it is, and immediatly yell back "Ninjas!" T'was a friend from the anime club, last Friday we had a huge debate over who was uber-er..and yeah. So we yelled that back and forth across the cafeteria for a few minutes, getting some strange looks.

But ninjas are FAR cooler than pirates. Pirates are cool, don't get me wrong, but they pale in comparison to the ninja.

And the actual picture came because of Kyle.
Me (9:21:09 PM): We got some funny looks, but t'was well worth it. Because EVERYONE ELSE knows that ninjas are far superior to pirates.
Kyle (9:26:33 PM): ...Uh-huh.
Me (9:26:46 PM): ..Are you disagreeing!?
Kyle (9:28:43 PM): No. Just not giving an answer.
Me (9:28:58 PM): Hmph. I see the game you're playing.
Kyle (9:30:05 PM): I'm good at it.
Me (9:30:22 PM): Very good.

Hmm. Time for another one of these. Haven't done one for a while, and seeing as I'll be away for over a week, (which I'll post about in the morning)

Silent starlight shining down on all the mortal lands
Places filled with anger, hate, and greed.
Where evil daily rules the world
Where all the good is dead.
Silent starlight crying over all the mortal lands
Yet none of the drops fall here.

Abandoned by the stars, we are.
They fail to light our way.
Every day a new one dies
their purpose unfulfilled.
Leaving the world as lost as I.

My shining light is somewhere
yet the stars won't show the path
This fallen dreamer must stay content
Navigating the darkness and filth.

I am not the only one
Who desperately seeks the road
I can almost remember someone else
but they can't remember themself at all
much less remember me.

The stars,
the road,
what does it all mean?
And when will I again find the path?
Will there be a light to see?

The soft embrace of the night
is not lit by any stars.
It is cold and lonely here
Yet my journey continues on.

The silent stars need to shine once more
Envelop us all in light
gently erase away the tears
from the cheek of you and I.

Until the blessed day shall come
I will travel on and on.
