Eat the rude?

Last night I re-read Hannibal for the first time since High School.

....And was completely and utterly squicked by the ending. So much that I wrote a long diatribe that I will type up after I get a few hours of sleep.

Just kinda weird, because seven years ago, I loved the "love story" between Clarice and Hannibal.

I still like all of my other evil/good pairings (And my evil/tragically misunderstood pairings, see icon) but that one really bothered me last night.

I wanna know why.
